   I decided to give my cube a bit of a rebrand to keep people guessing a bit more about what it is.
   
   The tools to remove the badge (Use the fishing line like dental floss at one edge to loosen the badge and then lever it off with the screwdriver (aim the screwdriver at the badge not the panel to avoid damage!) ...
   
   
   Before (This was an old pic before tints and lowering)...
   
   
   Badges off...
   
   
   
   
   Adhesive left...
   
   
   
   Lots of rubbing with a cloth, bare hands, and this stuff...
   
   
   And then the final clean up with this old classic...
   
   
   Results in this...
   
   
   (For complete smoothness then you could fibreglass behind the holes and fill, sand, repaint)
   
   From a distance...
   
   
   New badge in place...
   
   
   
   
   Just need a big red "transform" badge on my dash now.

   Thats awsome dude. May have to steal that idea but use a verceptocons badge. . I am glad the cube badge is only stuck on cause I want to remove it and get my pin striping mate to pinstrip the jap letters on in its place.

   good job (again lol)
   
   as a note when ive removed stickers/bump strips in the past,i used a hair drier to remove the bulk...then T Cut and Good wax to finish the job !

   I need to set up a flikr account anyway as photobucket have suddenly dropped the max limit for free accounts.
   
   a decepticon would be a good idea - good cube v bad cube.
   
   I removed the front badge when I bought the car to fit the front plate, had to cut out the raised surround though so have a hole behind plate!
   
   The c64 sticker had peeled at the edge which was bugging me.
   
   As above eBay is swamped with them - search for car badge.
   
   My mate at work mentioned the hair dryer trick after I'd done it so might be worth a try to others as I'd think it would speed it up!

   Me likey! I too enjoy the mystery of debadging! Not sure what badge to put in its place? hmmmmmmmm VW badge would put cat amongst the pidgeons! lol
   Would love that transformer badge on front instead of the nissan one, toying with blacking the grill up on weekend!!!

    volks cuben, beetle one to big, have to be a polo boot one or summit? would confuse the allready confused public!!

    Two questions on this debagde thing...
    
    1.whats the gap between each hole ??(outer edge to outer edge of holes)
    2.Those lugs on the back of the badge , are they for screws ??
    
    as i would like to copy this idea, but i just need to know the sizes for buying purposes !! and before removing ours.

    I'll measure the width of my badge, I know it just covered the holes.
    
    I think the lugs are simply to make it easier to put the badge on in the factory so it is level and the right way up.

    Measurements are as follows...
    
    Width of my badge where holes are is 80mm (You may get away with a couple of mm less than this)
    
    Left hole is approx 5mm diameter and right hole is approx 8mm diameter.
    
    Minimum badge size to cover holesI would recommend is 80mm x 10mm.

    dis my attempt at the debadging......
    ive used the dome badge company again and used the BZ11 aswell and gone for a grey back ground.
    
    
    im still not too sure on removing the CUBE badge as i do like that one
    
    the only thing i didnt expect was the amount of elbow grease needed for this job
