The ideas just come to me when I lie awake at night. It's either the voices or the drugs not sure which.
I can't make Longleat I'm afraid as Carla is in hospital that week.

Yeah we'll have to arrange something. Lately it seems I'm all I'm doing is mods on the car or planned shows.
Some photos from the weekend...

Liking the door panels! Did you notice the stowaway panda bear under the hood!!!
That's the engine, bamboo fuel!

Looking cool. I can remember them little robots you have on your seat.

Yeah every time the argos catalogue came out I always wanted one but never had one. Found one for £3 in a charity shop last year though.
Photo of car doing about 60mph, I'm surprised the teddies are visible!

More of a practical update than usual but I had my MOT and service on Friday so thought I'd report back on that.
In total the MOT and service came to £326.82.
The MOT failed on discs and pads but passed with only the pads changed. (I'm not driving the car until I fit the new discs though as I don't want to ruin the new pads with the existing scored discs)
As reported elsewhere I have purchased a set of standard disc replacements made by Brembo for the Renault Clio, based on building some info together from various previous posts from other members.
Discs purchased - http://www.bremboshop.co.uk/_p4137754.htm
Also available for the same spec -
EBC Standard discs - http://www.brakes4u.co.uk/itemdetail.asp?catID=15391
EBC Grooved discs - http://www.brakes4u.co.uk/itemdetail.asp?catID=17009
I will report back with a guide and photos once fitted. (Providing they're the correct ones!)
I also need to swap my rear brake shoes in 2000/3000 miles so I have bought a set of these too. There wasn't much difference in price between ones for a cube and Renault Clio so rather than risking getting the wrong items I bought cube specific ones.
Mileage - 75469
Breakdown of costs (exc. VAT) ...
MOT - £42.86
Oil filter - £6.65
Air filter - £9.90
Iridium spark plugs - £31.00
Engine oil - £20.25
Sump plug washer - 80p
Screenwash - 75p
Brake pads - £45.50
Labour £125
Carried out by a local independant servicing company.
Suppliers which may prove useful that I found whilst looking for Cube specific parts (Although hopefully we'll be able to put together a list of matching Clio parts in time so we can go to any parts supplier) ...

Hope this helps some people.
