Hi all, just trying to find out the best place to get a12v supply from, intending in installing some LEDs, and need to power them, don't want to run the cigarette lighter attachment into the car? Any ideas. .??.

Hi,
You could run another power supply from the battery via a switch in the cab. Or run a tap from the ignition side of the barrel depends on how good you are with electrics.

Hhhhmmmmm. Was just gonna run one from a suitable site in the fuse box, find one that's off until power via key is applied, tap from the, planning on utilising that I'll cubby hole beneath the starter button for trigger switch...
Didn't want to get into the steering column, but just had the a nosey around the dash, doesn't seem to complicated to get access.Posted 3 weeks ago #
