Help!
I've just had my first accident ever 
The front windscreen has ended with a crack in the bottom left (passenger side). The car is still airtight but i know I need to replace it atsome point.
Can anyone help with-
1. Is it better to pay for it or claim on it to avoid a hike in premium?
2. Where can I source one.
3. Will a standard car glass garage be able to fit it?
4. Cost all in?

Cracked windscreens are a worry for imported cars. I've read some horror stories about huge prices and long waits as the screens may not be stocked by UK screen suppliers. Owners advise that you make sure you've got unlimited windscreen cover with your insurance to cover, just paying out a £50 excess isn't too bad for a £500 screen!
A screen claim shouldn't affect your NCD, ask your broker.
If you want to get it done yourself, try and source a breaking car. There are a few about, though not many!
