Agree on toning the white down though, and go for all white (IMHO).

They don't look quite that bright, it must be the picture! And finding the proper paint is proving to be a mission! There are a few threads on here and also quite a few other forums about problems getting hold of the infamous Nissan KJ7 ivory white paint. Not seen anyhting yet where people have been successful! It may have to be Mini paint after all!

I think my cube is KJ7,
don't bother trying to get a matching paint from Halfords....
I ordered a perfect match from a small (I think) carpaint shop, if I recall correctly, from channel islands?
Got a spray can, and a touch-up can.
For not a lot of money, and the colour was 99% perfect match ! It was so close, that when I touched-up few stone chips, after drying, couldn't find them anymore...
Btw: I also thought about Mini white, it sure looks similar. But ended up ordering the KJ7, when this guy said he can do it.
edit: not channel islands...

Good call eki912! One quick phone call and 2 spray cans and a tounch up winging its way to me! I looked through so many forums about people asking how to get hold of KJ7! There's 3 on here alone!

So after a few weeks of poor weather and a holiday I got round to refurbing and spraying my wheels and I'm well chuffed with the results. The colour is perfect, big shout out to Autopaint, one of their bespoke made aerosols sprayed 3 coats on all 4 wheels. So they're now colour matched to the car and look proper! A bit of touching up of a couple of tiny stone chips and scratches on the mudguards and you would never believe it's 8 years old!

Also the new stereo is now in, a Poineer P3100 DVD, double din with uploadable backgrounds that now shows a nice chrome Nissan bagge on a black background when the radio or CD is playing. A quick switch hack has also enabled me to have DVDs playing whilst driving (oops!) Music vids only - not too distracting, but still rather illegal!!
