Well I've got my LED rear lights fitted and just been for a quick test drive and mine is cool going above 3000 revs.

Think I'll need a longer drive to test the auto kick down but it did seem really rev happy so maybe it's waiting for me to slack off rather than auto changing?

It actually feels a better drive though like that.

Just need to get a bumper back on as it looks a bit of a mess at the mo!

Indicators are flashing at ten to the dozen like yours were Rik so need to wire in the old ones as well soon.

Isn't the rubber button for keyless entry only. If I do get an aftermarket one it will cost a bomb, since it's the labour is v big job it do. Nit sure if it's worth doin then. I will try Nissan dealer first, then try the man from bristol. May think of getting a remote start module or a flip key.

Thanks for the info

I went down a similar route when I bought my cube.

For the remote locking to work you need to have a small black rubber nodule on the door handle.

If you haven't got this then you won't be able to get remote locking/unlocking working off the key.

The only option is to get an aftermarket alarm with central locking integrated or aftermarket central locking kit. You may still experience problems as the people that fitted my alarm said that the central locking is "Cable" based rather than "Rod" based (Think bike brake cable) which means they need to get a kit that cuts into the cable at the right depth.

(I never did get that sorted <img src="http://forum.cubeownersclub.co.uk/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_sad.gif" title=":(" class="bb_smilies" /> )

Just to let you all know that the ESVA and Model Reports is now abolished and has been replaced with IVA for Japanese imported cars. ESVA for other cars is slowly being fazed out and will be completely abolished by 2011 (I think).

Re Cam Cam shaft sensor Nissan Cube 3 Cubic
HI
Thanks for your reply
No worries please see the pictures below
In case they do no come up it is part number 23731-4M50B
It was from Bedford Nissan and cost £63.77 + VAT.
It's worth also noting that the Engine light was remained on when I finally got it started.
Turned out that the light was on from the Cam sensor fault - The Engine light will come on when there is sensor problem/fault
(or mechanical I would have thought).
However when you change the faulty sensor(s) the engine light will still stay on which is normal as it doesn't reset itself - when you change the sensor(s). The diagnostic machine was used to sort this out.

i have a metal key without a remote central locking on it.
i would want a remote key as it is more convenient to use than having to lock it through the keyhole.
just wondering is there any way that i can have it changed to a remote button locking.
i went to ask a key cutter who does car remote cutting but they said that the nissan cube is impossible to do.
has anyone here have the same problem

Was it a hard job to fit?
Nice to know as may catch up with me or others in the future, do you have the packaging or the part number from your invoice as could be handy! <img src="http://forum.cubeownersclub.co.uk/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_biggrin.gif" title=":D" class="bb_smilies" />

Shame that you're having to sell, that's a very good price, especially for a cubic.

You don't see many cubics up for sale.

Good luck.
