Hi All,<br>Looking at getting my first cube at the weekend, problem is it currently has the check engine light on. Drives fine but before I part with my cash I want to check the code to know what is wrong.<br>I have found the method of doing it without a reader but would prefer to use a code reader, has anyone got any experience of one that works for the nissan cube.<br>I like the look of this one<br><br>be great to know if anyone has tried it<br>cheers<br>

Hi I recond codes will be p0340 /p1110 on a gen 2 year About 02/04 are both to do with timing chain p Code readers as above taz use the same hope this helps good buying the codes mean time for timing chain can be done In car or change engine way up costs 600+ unless you can do it your self . Hopefully the code will be something else cubed has said below keep walking
  • Georg unless it's particularly cheap and you budget in for the work I'd walk away.
  • well I'm hoping the code will be something else as it is a nice cube (and local which is great as I am at the bottom of cornwall) but it is not cheap.<br>Got no problem with doing the timing chain but I'm not paying full whack for a car that needs it. Cheers for the how to link<br><br>I'll get the adapter/ app plug it in and see<br>
